John Dolmayan (born July 15, 1973) is the drummer for the Armenian-American alternative metal band System of a Down. His bandmates are vocalist/keyboards Serj Tankian, guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian, and bassist Shavo Odadjian. John currently lives in Hollywood, California.

Shavo Odadjian (born April 22, 1974 in Yerevan, Armenia as Shavarsh Odadjian), is the bassist for the Los Angeles-based alternative metal band, System of a Down.

Daron Vartan Malakian is the guitarist in the American-Armenian band System of a Down, comprising vocalist Serj Tankian, bassist Shavo Odadjian, and drummer John Dolmayan. Malakian has written most of the band's music, and, more recently, has taken on a large share of the vocal and lyrical work for the band as well. Malakian sometimes has makeup around his eyes that looks like Egyptian eyeliner.

Serj Tankian (born August 21, 1967 in Beirut, Lebanon) is an Armenian-American musician who now lives in Los Angeles. He is best known as a vocalist for the alternative metal band System of a Down, for which he has also occasionally played guitar and keyboards. He is the oldest member in System of a Down.
